The farm / Zimbabwe

Rooted in place.
Focused by choice.

A family-led horticulture enterprise shaped by high-veld conditions, practical innovation and an uncompromising export mindset.

01

Our origin

A commercial farm
with a maker’s mindset.

Founded in 2018, Tafften Farms grew from a family plot into a dedicated commercial passion fruit operation. Instead of spreading attention across many crops, the farm chose depth: learning one plant, one supply chain and one buyer expectation exceptionally well.

Today, six planted hectares combine trellised growing, block-level identification, drip irrigation, trained field teams and a focused post-harvest system.

Stewardship in practice

Use less.
Grow better.

01

Precision water

Drip lines place water at the root zone while irrigation decisions respond to crop and field conditions.

02

Closed-loop thinking

Fish-integrated water systems and organic matter reuse turn farm outputs into productive inputs.

03

Living soil

Mulching, cover practices and reduced disturbance protect structure, moisture and long-term fertility.

The people

Quality is a
human skill.

The consistency buyers see in a carton begins with trained hands in the field and packhouse. Tafften invests in practical horticulture, food safety and grading skills while building stable work around the export season.
